<li>Conduct examination of building electrical work including blueprints, specifications, surveys, product approvals and shop drawings, and all other required documents for compliance with the Florida Building Code and other regulations relating to building construction</li>
<li>Provide daily surveillance of the contractor’s construction activities at the project site and maintains a daily log of construction and inspection activities</li>
<li>Be able to perform quality assurance to verify actual to contracted service, materials, and construction</li>
<li>Be able to provide technical guidance regarding construction matters</li>
<li>Maintain organized all required project records</li>
<li>Must be able to interpret construction plans, details, standards and specifications</li>

Required Qualifications:

<li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management and 10-15 years of construction related experience</li>
<li>OR.. No degree and a minimum of 30 years of construction related experience in a field applicable to the work assignment</li>
<li>OSHA 30 Certification</li>
<li>This job requires good communication and documentation skills (Microsoft Office Suite or equal, Web skills) and an individual capable of performing with minimal supervision</li>
<li>A general knowledge of construction techniques, preferably in the construction and rehabilitation of pump stations, as well as in the electrical field focused on 277/480V systems, up to 60 kV grid conductors, and an ability to read plans and specifications</li>

Ensuring all installs are done in a neat and workmanlike manner, safely, to builder specifications and current NEC code.
Duties/Responsibilities:

<li>Installing and terminating wiring for low voltage equipment in new home construction</li>
<li>Installing WAP’s (wireless access points), ring doorbells, standard doorbells, low voltage chimes etc.</li>
<li>Troubleshooting problems with low voltage equipment used in new home construction. i.e. security cameras, video doorbells, security systems, wireless equipment</li>
