This role reports directly to the Repairs Manager.

Position Overview

The Senior Aviation Repair Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the repair, maintenance, and refurbishment of aircraft components and systems. This role ensures that all repair activities are carried out efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. The Senior Aviation Repair Coordinator works closely with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders across the organization to ensure timely, high-quality repairs and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aviation repair operations, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lead teams (when needed) in a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities

Oversee the coordination of repair and maintenance activities for a variety of aircraft components, including engines, avionics, structures, and landing gear.

Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and procurement, to ensure effective coordination of repairs and adherence to project timelines.

Interface with external vendors and repair facilities to obtain quotes, monitor progress, and ensure quality standards are met.

Manage and prioritize repair requests, ensuring that urgent and critical repairs are addressed promptly while maintaining effective workflow across multiple projects.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and coordinate training programs to enhance the team’s technical knowledge and performance.

Track and report key performance metrics, including repair turnaround time, cost management, and compliance with quality assurance processes.

Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency

Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and cost analyses for repair projects.

Data integrity for the repair module in Quantum.


Qualifications

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aviation repair or maintenance coordination, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior position.

In-depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations, as well as regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, etc.).

Strong experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
