Job DescriptionWe are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Data Analyst in the hospitality industry, located in Orlando, Florida, United States. As a Financial Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing different aspects of our business operations, providing valuable insights and recommendations, and assisting in various financial tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct a thorough analysis of park pricing strategies and deliver data-driven suggestions to improve business performance.
• Perform a comprehensive evaluation of attendance patterns by location and product type to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Delve into per capita spending trends, reviewing and analyzing data to inform business decisions.
• Provide analytical support for marketing campaigns and initiatives, ensuring they are data-driven and effective.
• Assist in preparing for business unit strategy meetings, ensuring all necessary data and analysis are accurately presented.
• Carry out financial analysis in relation to macroeconomic and industry trends to stay ahead of the market.
• Assist in the development of the annual operating budget and provide an expense variance analysis for corporate departments.
• Support special projects and other assigned duties, using your skills in Bloomberg Terminal, Concur, CRM, Crystal Reports, Data Mining Techniques, About Time, Accounting Functions, Auditing, Budget Processes, and Capital Management.• Applicant must possess a minimum of three years of experience in a financial data analysis role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in using Bloomberg Terminal is a requirement for this position.
• Knowledge of Concur, a travel and expense management software, is essential.
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is required.
• Experience with Crystal Reports, a business intelligence application, is necessary.
• Understanding and application of data mining techniques is a critical aspect of this role.
• The candidate must have experience with About Time, a workforce management solution.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting functions is a prerequisite for this position.
• Auditing experience is essential for this role.
• Familiarity with budget processes, including planning, tracking, and reporting, is required.
• Experience in capital management within the hospitality sector is necessary.
