Job Title: SAP OTC Consultant
Location: Miami, FL - Remote
Duration: 6+ months Contract
Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP professional with deep expertise in Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes and Customer Service (CS). The ideal candidate will possess a blend of functional and technical skills, enabling them to configure, implement, and optimize SAP OTC and CS solutions. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams-especially customer service stakeholders-to drive process efficiencies, integrate logistics and finance functionalities, and ensure seamless data flows.
Key Responsibilities
1. SAP OTC Configuration Implementation
- Configure and maintain SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) components, covering the entire OTC cycle (Pre-Sales, Sales Order Processing, Deliveries, Billing).
- Define and assign Enterprise Structures, Master Data, and Sales Document types (Inquiry, Quotation, Standard Order, Rush Order, Cash Sales, etc.).
- Design and implement Pricing structures (Condition Tables, Condition Types, Access Sequences, Pricing Procedures, Condition Records).
- Oversee Order Management processes, including deliveries (outbound & inbound), invoicing, credit memos, and debit memos.
- Drive LE (Logistics Execution) processes, ensuring full functionality from master data uploads to final delivery completion.
2. Customer Service (CS) Expertise
- Configure and support SAP CS components, integrating service processes with SD and FI.
- Manage repairs processing (goods receipt, storage location tracking, finance cost tracking, final invoice to the customer).
- Implement warranty and equipment master setups, ensuring seamless coordination across SD and FI modules.
- Configure service work orders and facilitate end-to-end repair workflows, including replacements and refurbishments.
3. Technical Responsibilities & RICEF Management
- Develop and maintain RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) within SD, MM, and CS domains.
- Collaborate with functional teams to clarify requirements, define solution logic, and develop ABAP-based enhancements.
- Provide effort estimations for ABAP deliverables, create and refine project templates (design docs, code review checklists, issue logs).
- Review, debug, and optimize ABAP code, ensuring high-quality technical solutions aligned with best practices.
4. Integration & Interface Handling
- Manage and troubleshoot interfaces between SAP and external systems, guaranteeing data consistency and real-time updates.
- Proactively identify and resolve integration issues, working with cross-functional teams to optimize end-to-end business processes.
- 5. Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Partner with customer service teams to drive OTC initiatives and enhance process efficiencies.
- Gather and document requirements directly from business stakeholders, translating them into system solutions.
- Perform solution testing, support go-live activities, and provide post-implementation guidance to end users.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 5 7 years of hands-on SAP SD configuration, with a strong emphasis on OTC and LE processes.
- Proven track record in SAP CS module configuration, including repairs, warranty, and service orders.
- Solid ABAP debugging experience and ability to handle RICEF object development.
Functional Expertise:
- Strong grasp of pricing procedures, condition records, and sales document configuration.
- In-depth understanding of customer service processes (repairs, refurbishment, warranty tracking).
- Familiarity with FI integration points for billing, invoicing, and cost tracking.
Technical Skills:
- Capable of designing, developing, and reviewing custom programs, reports, and interfaces.
- Experience managing interfaces between SAP and third-party systems.
- Proficiency in planning and executing unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance tests.
