Financial Systems Analyst - Forecasting & Reporting
Enterprise Healthcare Organization based in Florida

TEWS has an immediate need for an experienced Forecasting & Financial Systems Analyst with strong forecasting and reporting experience. This role supports the configuration, implementation, maintenance and ongoing utilization of the organizations forecasting system, ancillary databases, and related modules.

  • You will provide system administration and support for applications including but not limited to forecasting and reporting.
  • Develops reports and analyses from the organization's forecasting system to assess reasonableness of financial assumptions and to identify significant financial trends, risks and opportunities in support of management and customers throughout the organization.
  • Provides secondary support for other applications maintained within the department on a periodic basis.
  • Assists with supporting Financial Reporting tools in collaboration with the IT departments.
  • Supports monthly, quarterly, and annual processes, reporting, and financial counseling.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum five (5) years budgeting, forecasting, and/or financial analysis and reporting experience.
  • Technical experience in decision support systems and/or budget/forecasting systems.
  • Systems administrator or systems analyst experience.preferred

The following are preferred qulaifications & experience:

  • Experience in a Hospital and/or related business experience in a health care setting.preferred

Must have experience with atleast one oif the following:

  • Oracle Hyperion System 9 or EPM 11 Platform
  • Oracle Hyperion Planning (including Workforce Planning, PBCS, or EPBCS)
  • Oracle Hyperion Essbase
  • Oracle Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management
  • Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting
  • Oracle Hyperion SmartView
  • Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
  • Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting applications and systems.
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to think independently, handle multiple tasks and priorities, and react quickly to change.
  • Strong written and communication skills required, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work closely in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated competency with Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of multi-dimensional Essbase cube design preferred
  • Knowledge of Oracle data management tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with common database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) and the ability to build reports/queries preferred
  • Provide support for quarterly forecasting process, monthly/annual reporting, other Oracle modules and visualization tools.
  • Performs updates, data reconciliations/validations, data loads and metadata management.
  • Prepare and analyze reasonableness of forecast assumptions and monthly/annual information.
  • Perform functional system administration duties in conjunction with System Administrator.
  • Supports selection, installation, configuration, conversion, implementation and ongoing utilization of related application(s) and any other ancillary databases.
  • May modify calculation rules, allocation scripts, load rules, etc.
  • Supports design best practices.
  • Supports and maintains security.
  • Updates forms, task lists, etc. with guidance from incumbent Administrator.
  • Maintains controls to ensure data integrity, including but not limited to developing ongoing forecast reasonableness tests.
  • Communicates impact of system upgrades / updates to other Finance team members and end-users.
  • Supports end users relative to functionality, processes, and troubleshooting.
  • Facilitate and prepare management reporting and analysis
  • Develops or assists in the development of reports and analysis from the organization's forecasting and/or Financial Reporting applications.
  • Identifies significant trends, risks and opportunities.
    Independently analyzes and identifies the optimal means for presenting data.
  • Applies financial management concepts and knowledge of business operations/processes to support reporting and analysis.
  • Provides education to customers on reporting and analysis resources.
  • Develops a strong understanding of business systems that impact the financial reporting applications, including but not limited to Soarian (billing), Lawson G/L system, Kronos payroll.
  • Serves as a Financial Counselor assigned operational departments
  • Provide financial counseling by working with department management to analyze financial information, (including productivity).
  • Provide support and guidance for the quarterly forecast process.
  • Continually seeks opportunities for process improvement. Provide support for other financial reporting tools. Other duties as assigned.
  • Provides analysis and data to customers to support the creation of forecasts.
  • Monitors and investigates forecast variances for customers.
  • Reviews submissions and provides recommendations to customers to support the creation of forecasts
