Job Title: Technical Product Support Specialist (Audio Visual & Collaboration)

Employment: 3-Month Initial Contract until Fiscal Year End (Expected Extensions)

Authorization: Candidates must be able to work on W2 or 1099 without visa sponsorship

Location: Ocoee, FL – 50% travel

Position Summary:

Join our team as a Technical Product Support Specialist and play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our enterprise audio-visual and collaboration systems. You will provide expert in-person and remote technical support, ensuring seamless operation of our technology infrastructure. This position requires a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audio-Visual System Management:

    • Coordinate and execute audio-visual installations, setups, and video conferencing support.

    • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Microsoft Teams Rooms certified equipment.

    • Monitor collaboration systems using tools like MS Teams Admin Center and vendor portals.

  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

    • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.

    • Develop and implement solutions for system repairs or replacements.

    • Provide top-tier technical support to end-users, both remotely and on-site.

  • Collaboration & Optimization:

    • Recommend strategies to enhance collaboration space utilization, including new technologies and practices.

    • Train users and technical staff on AV equipment and software.

    • Maintain detailed documentation of systems, processes, and asset tracking.

  • IT Collaboration & Support:

    • Collaborate with other IT teams on projects and initiatives.

    • Provide support for virtual meeting applications (MS Teams, Zoom, GoTo, etc.).

    • Proficiently use Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and Windows 10/11.

  • Logistics & Availability:

    • Maintain standard onsite hours (7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday).

    • Provide after-hours support for events and travel as needed.

    • Travel 50% to remote locations to provide support and event coordination.

    • Ability to lift 50 pounds.

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Proven experience supporting audio-visual technology and collaboration systems in an enterprise environment (preferred).

    • Strong knowledge of virtual meeting applications (MS Teams, Zoom, GoTo, etc.).

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams Rooms certified equipment.

    • Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Office 365 Suite.

  • Problem-Solving & Communication:

    • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Professional Attributes:

    • High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications or relevant education is a plus).

    • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Capacity to perform effectively under pressure.
