Position Objectives:
As a Bilingual Medical Assistant (fluent Spanish) in our endocrinology clinic in Lauderdale Lakes, FL, you’ll be an essential member of our care team, supporting providers and ensuring a seamless, positive experience for our patients.

Responsibilities:

Patient Preparation: Welcome patients, record vital signs, medical history, and relevant information.
Clinical Support: Assist providers during exams, procedures, and blood draws; maintain clean, organized exam rooms.
Documentation: Ensure accurate, up-to-date entries in EMR systems.
Patient Education: Share diagnosis and treatment instructions, and provide educational resources.
Appointment Coordination: Manage follow-ups, referrals, and scheduling.
Laboratory Assistance: Perform lab tests, prepare specimens, and manage results.
Inventory Management: Maintain clinic supplies and equipment.
Patient Communication: Address patient inquiries, lab results, and care plans under physician supervision.
Team Collaboration: Work with the medical team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

Certification: Medical Assistant certification preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years in a medical office; endocrinology experience a plus.
Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, proficiency in EMR systems (eClinicalWorks/Athena preferred).
Language: Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (required).
