We are searching for a Full-Time, Medical Billing Specialist for our growing team at Bridgeway Billing Solutions (BBS). MUST HAVE PRIOR medical billing or medical collection experience and live in Florida. If you meet the experience requirement and want to work in a rewarding, fast-paced environment, please apply. HOURS: Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-2:30pm

SUMMARY:
As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be a vital part of our healthcare team, utilizing core skills such as medical collection, EMR systems, and medical coding to ensure accurate and timely billing processes. Your premium skills in DRG and CPT coding, along with your expertise in ICD-10 coding, will be essential in maximizing reimbursement and compliance. With a strong foundation in medical terminology and computer skills, you will efficiently navigate billing software and communicate effectively with insurance providers. REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience
- Medical billing A/R follow up
- Production based focus
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Understanding of medical terminology, medical billing practices and billing reimbursement is essential
- Familiar with billing guidelines and regulations in various states; across government and non-government insurance carriers
- Strong computer and typing skills
Note: Certification in medical coding (such as CPC or CCS) is preferred but not required.
