Job Title: Customer Service/Patient Care Representative
Location: Gainesville, FL 32607
Duration: 6+ months (with possible extension)
Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary:
The Customer Service/Patient Care Representative will work in a call center environment, handling high-volume inbound calls from patients and customers for medical supply orders and general customer support. This role involves maintaining accurate patient records, verifying account information, coordinating equipment replacements, and ensuring timely scheduling of preventative maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle inbound calls related to supply orders, equipment support, and customer inquiries

Maintain and update patient records and account verifications

Meet department KPIs consistently

Communicate prescription revision needs to clinic support teams

Process new referrals for out-of-warranty equipment

Facilitate and coordinate equipment replacements and patient returns

Schedule annual preventative maintenance appointments

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
-
2–3 years of call center experience
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong data entry and computer navigation skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to multi-task, solve problems, and use sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus
