We are seeking an experienced Structural Project Manager to oversee high-rise residential projects for a leading shell contractor in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Description
- Manage all phases of high-rise structural shell construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Oversee concrete, formwork, post-tensioning, and reinforcing steel installation.
- Coordinate with general contractors, developers, engineers, and subcontractors to drive project success.
- Monitor field operations to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring strong communication and problem-solving on-site.
- Analyze project schedules, budgets, and cost controls to optimize efficiency.
- Identify and resolve structural or logistical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
Profile
- 5+ years of experience managing structural shell projects, preferably in high-rise residential construction.
- Strong knowledge of concrete structures, formwork systems, and post-tensioning.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing project teams and subcontractors.
- Proficient in construction scheduling, budgeting, and cost control processes.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
