Construction Administrator
Zyscovich is searching for a Construction Administrator to contribute to our highly innovative and diverse team of professionals.
Duties:
- Conduct on-site observations, prepare and distribute reports
- Aid in coordinating all architectural and sub-consultant activities related to construction contract administration, including process sketches and permit revisions, field observations, reports, change orders and pay requests.
- Assist with reviewing project submittals and review, coordinate and respond to RFIs.
- Compile, evaluate and present feedback information related to necessary changes in construction documents.
- Assist with reviewing contractor’s project drawings, warranties and other post-construction submittals.
- Communicate effectively and maintain proactive working relationship with clients and contractors.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in Construction Administration is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management is required.
- Knowledge of sustainable design and construction process is preferred.
- Field experience is preferred.
- Basic computer application proficiency is required. Knowledge of Newforma (or Similar Construction Tracking Program) AutoCAD and/or Revit is a plus.
- General Contractor license is a plus.
