Job Title: Facility Maintenance Needed ASAP
Job Description
The Facilities Technician will be responsible for supervising the successful daily tasks for the hotel and overseeing maintenance work done by outside vendors. This candidate should have a strong HVAC background, specifically HVAC systems for large buildings such as hotels.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily tasks for the hotel and oversee maintenance work done by outside vendors.
- Use knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drywall, paint, etc., to call contractors from a vendor list and supervise their work.
- Discuss any discrepancies found with the work to approve it.
- Commute between hotels in Brickell and another hotel 10 minutes away using the tri-rail.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of HVAC experience, specifically with building maintenance experience within apartment complexes or hotels.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues for hotel guests, such as automatic shades or TV problems.
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and email.
- Customer service experience in previous roles.
- Ability to navigate a tablet and other technology.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience working within maintenance at a hotel or apartment complex, specifically with HVAC and/or boilers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
- Technically savvy.
Why Work Here?
Employees will be eligible for holiday pay and PTO (80 hours yearly). They will also have a monthly expense budget of $120.
Work Environment
Two positions are available: one at the Brickell location and one near the World Center stadium. Shifts for Brickell are from 12pm-8:30pm, and for the World Center, shifts are from 10am-6:30pm or 12pm-8:30pm. Both positions have Wednesdays and Thursdays off. The role takes place at CitizenM hotels located at 11 SE 10th St, Miami, FL (Brickell) and 700 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL (World Center).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00
