Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Plan, design, and maintain connectivity of enterprise network assets to ensure compliance and secure operations on Classified networks (SIPR, NIPR, JWICS), collaborating with stakeholders to address connectivity requirements and implement necessary configurations to facilitate efficient and secure data transmission.
  • Ensure all network switches and routers are operational, properly configured, and compliant with DISA STIG requirements and perform regular maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting of network switches to ensure optimal performance.
  • Configure, maintain, and monitor firewall, intrusion protection, intrusion detection systems, and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control and authentication in accordance with ATO requirements, cybersecurity policies, and standards.
  • Implement the necessary security measures to protect specialized systems and networks from unauthorized access and cyber threats and support the planning and implementation of enterprise service connections between networks, systems, and applications across domains.
  • Facilitate connections for auditing, authentication, secure cloud computing architecture (SCCA), and Cross Domain Solutions and Guards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards; collaborate with ISSOs and the Cyber Services Lead IV in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process; and provide inputs and documentation using designated templates and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, InfoPath, Visio, etc.) to support the security assessment and authorization of TAC systems.
  • Be familiar with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems as well as the ITIL framework and service delivery concepts.
  • Work across multiple teams, collaborating effectively to resolve issues, alerts and tickets, closing tickets once an incident has been confirmed resolved.
  • Mentor/train other NOC staff in methods and processes for effective resolution, tuning and system optimization, alert definitions and appropriate actions, and other routine NOC activities.
  • Work with other team members/teams to determine root cause and develop reports for stakeholder consumption.
  • Mentor/train junior staff in methods and processes for effective resolution, tuning and system optimization, alert definitions and appropriate actions and other routine Engineering activities.
  • Manage Classified enterprise networks.
  • Supervise and mentor subordinate project and Team ManTech staff.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4-9 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a relevant discipline.
    • Masters degree is equivalent to 2 years of experience.
    • PhD degree is equivalent to 4 years of experience.
    • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting DoD programs.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies.
  • ITIL certification.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active/currentSecret security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
