We are seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator to join a respected general contractor in Doral, specializing in commercial and retail construction. The company is known for delivering high-quality projects on time and providing exceptional service to its clients. This role involves overseeing safety compliance on construction sites, promoting a safe working environment, and requires regular travel and occasional short-term relocation.
Responsibilities:
Develop and enforce OHS policies and safety programs.
Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and hazard assessments.
Manage subcontractor safety documentation and digital platforms.
Collaborate with client safety auditors to ensure compliance.
Investigate incidents and prepare safety reports.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in commercial/industrial construction safety.
OSHA 30 & OSHA 510 certifications (Aerial Work Platform Trainer is a plus).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Bilingual (English & Spanish) communication skills.
