Join our world-class team!Tasks The System Operations Specialist (SysOps Specialist) is responsible for: Installation, management and administration of our AMOS (N-tier) application Database management (PostgreSQL, Patroni, Pgbackrest) Daily systems monitoring Technical second and third-level support Support customers during implementation and daily operations Troubleshooting, performance tuning, backup and recovery Working as a team player and collaborate with our offices in Basel and Singapore * Participate in other duties as assigned Requirements The ideal System Operations Specialist (SysOps Specialist) should meet the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Strong Linux system administration skills DBA experience in SQL databases / PostgreSQL Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) Networking fundamentals Experience in understanding N-tier applications Ability for troubleshooting Team player and customer-oriented mindset 2 or more years of experience in Linux systems administration desirable Experience or knowledge in project management is an asset In accordance with national visa regulations, U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is strictly required for this position * CV/Resume, diplomas and work certificates are required * Company will not provide relocation assistance About Swiss AviationSoftware Ltd.
