Summary:
We are a tech startup seeking a proactive Sales Operations Analyst to optimize sales performance, reporting, and operational processes. This role will collaborate closely with sales and operations teams to develop actionable insights, streamline processes, and drive efficiency. The ideal candidate will build advanced reporting, dashboards, and data analysis to support leadership decisions and enhance team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales and operations performance.
  • Optimize sales and operational efficiency through identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Work with leadership and relevant stakeholders to design effective and motivating commissions/incentive plans for sales teams.
  • Build relationships with sales and operations leadership to be able to determine reporting needs.
  • Develop and present recommendations to senior level Sales & Operations stakeholders.
  • Create and distribute ad-hoc reporting and analysis to the sales and operations organizations.
  • Participate in transformational projects that drive significant organizational change


Primary Success Measurements:

  • Independent execution of recurring responsibilities.
  • Comfortable independently creating advanced reports in data visualization systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • A firm understanding of Sales and Operations systems and processes and ability to teach others.
  • Independently manage assignment/project deadlines and set proper expectations on timelines and capacity with stakeholders.
  • Comfortable engaging with and influencing stakeholders across the business.

Education and Experience

  • 2-4 years of related professional experience preferred, ideally in a sales/operations or analyst role.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Hubspot (Customer Relationship Management tool) reporting skills or beginner abilities with a strong desire to learn and demonstrated ability to quickly teach oneself.
  • Experience identifying insights from complex data sets, proposing solutions based on findings, and implementing recommendations.
  • B2C and B2B sales experience preferred.
  • Accounting/Finance industry experience preferred.
  • Resourceful - able to independently find answers and solutions.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize and operate with a sense of urgency
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
