Data Science Manager - Miami, FL (C2H)
Pearson Whiffin has partnered with a leading Travel Arrangements organization based out of Miami, which is currently looking for an experienced Data Science Manager to lead a team of professional Data Scientists responsible for driving AI strategies globally.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, fostering skill development and collaboration
- Set clear goals, define key performance metrics, and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Cultivate a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and accountability
AI Strategy Development and Execution:
- Drive the design, development, and implementation of AI and machine learning strategies across the organization
- Collaborate with senior leaders to align AI initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.
- Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies and trends to keep the organization ahead of the curve
Project and Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of data-driven projects, from ideation to deployment.
- Use data analytics and AI to identify opportunities for operational improvements and business optimization.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects, maintaining high standards for quality and impact.
Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on Data Scientist seeking career progression into leadership OR experienced Data Science Manager ready for a new challenge.
- Proven experience leading the delivery of AI strategies across an organization.
- Experience leading projects that use data to drive operational improvements and business optimization.
- Passionate about innovation, growth, and staying ahead in the AI space.
- Experience in the Travel industry is a big plus!
