Barry's is the Best Workout in the WorldTM®. Founded in West Hollywood in 1998, it's the original strength and cardio interval fitness experience that provides an immersive, high-intensity, one-hour workout that's as effective as it is fun. Our fitness classes alternate between working out with weights and running on a treadmill. Each day focuses on a different muscle group in order to achieve real results and to prevent injuries. Our program is designed to tone muscle and maximize fat loss, while spiking the metabolism for up to 48 hours following the class.

About the role

The Strategy Manager's priority at Barry's is to define and evaluate strategic growth and optimization initiatives. Reporting to the Vice President of Strategy & Analytics, the Strategy Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Talent, Digital, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other departments. The ideal candidate is a data-driven thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment that often requires solving problems with ambiguity. This role involves managing and leading high-impact strategic engagements, providing insights and direction, juggling multiple priorities, and driving decision-making on key business initiatives. The Strategy Manager will contribute to all stages of strategic initiatives, from discovery and planning to implementation and performance evaluation, acting as a consultant and collaborating closely with key stakeholders.

What you'll do

  • Strategic Initiatives: Lead high-impact projects by creating project plans, conducting analyses and research, building models including financial, and delivering actionable recommendations to drive growth and efficiency.
  • Digital Platform Management: Drive growth, profitability, and client engagement for Barry's digital fitness product ("Barry's X") by overseeing VOD content production, managing vendor and partner relationships, analyzing performance data, implementing platform updates, ensuring a high-quality user experience, and partnering cross-functionally to drive business unit performance.
  • Instructor Scheduling Optimization: Partner with Directors of Instructor Talent on continuous schedule improvement by evaluating instructor performance, consolidating inputs, and using data-driven and qualitative insights to allocate classes strategically, optimizing for client satisfaction and profitability.
  • Advanced Analytics: Conduct sophisticated analytics projects, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to inform key business decisions across functions.
  • Executive Reporting: Develop and present polished executive-level reports, dashboards, and summaries that clearly communicate progress, insights, and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience at a top-tier consulting, investment banking, private equity, or advanced analytics firm, or a similar role requiring strong analytical, financial modeling, strategic problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau); experience with Python or R is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, and drive initiatives from ideation to execution, balancing attention to detail with a strategic perspective
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences
  • Interest in the fitness or wellness industry
  • Must be available to work at our corporate HQ in Miami, FL
