Job Title: Lead IT Network Engineer
Location: Miami FL
Duration: Fulltime
Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable, secure by design, and high-performance network and cloud solutions using but not limited to Cisco, Palo Alto, and Azure technologies.
- Lead the implementation and integration of network and cloud connectivity projects. Experience with risk analysis frameworks.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network and cloud architecture documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform network and cloud infrastructure assessments and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for network and cloud security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and cloud infrastructure issues.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior network engineers.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in network, security and cloud technologies.
- Develop standards and processes for the design, standardization, engineering, implementation, and maximization of cloud services used across the organization.
- Communicate in a clear and concise manner with a professional demeanor to all levels of the organization
- Advanced experience creating presentation materials, generating reports, and presenting to appropriate stakeholders, including executive leadership. Ability to explain advanced concepts to engineers, peers, and leadership.
Skills:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in network architecture, cloud connectivity services and zero-trust frameworks.
- Extensive experience with Cisco networking technologies (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, Cisco ISE).
- Strong expertise in Palo Alto Firewalls and IAM security solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, including networking, security, and cloud infrastructure.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Experience with network automation and orchestration tools.
- Experience in migrating from traditional on-premises technologies to cloud platforms is required.
- Conduct research and make recommendations on products, services, protocols and standards to support all network procurement.
Education/Technology:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CCIE, CCNP Security, CISSP, NSE, and Azure Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
