Position Summary:

Data Stewards ensure that data is managed according to the Policy and Standards. A Data Steward is a subject matter expert in a given Domain, with the best knowledge of the data and its uses.

Position Duties / Responsibilities:

Data Domain Metadata
•Define / validate business definitions for data elements
•Review data lineage
•Identify need for changes in metadata
•Implement changes to business definitions

Data Quality Management Life-cycle & KDEs
•Implement and/or create deliverables
•Identify candidates for KDE and prioritize KDEs in compliance with standards
•Define business rules for data within the Domain
•Review and approve remediation plans
•Prioritize issues to remediate
•Translate business strategies into actionable Data management projects and/or initiatives
•Negotiate data service agreements, ensure data access and provisioning comply with standards
•Manage the quality and integrity of data, including remediating gaps through data quality improvement actions taken at the system, process or database level

Project Management
•Translate business strategies into actionable Data management projects and/or initiatives
•For each data initiative and related projects, define a business case; provide formal data requirements; and prioritize data projects within Domain
•Support data users acting as Subject Matter Expert ("SME") of data

Governance
•Escalate high impact issues to the DGC
•Coordinate BSI Data Management Governance structure

•Other duties as assigned or requested by immediate supervisor

Education:

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Business Experience:

7-10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated required level of proficiency

Supervisory / Management Scope:

Manage process or technology

Technical Knowledge:

Strong decision making skills
Project Management
Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Computer savvy.
Ability to multitask

Supervisory and personnel management skills

Licenses / Certifications: Private Banking Certification or equivalent
AML Certification or equivalent

Languages:

Spanish, English Portuguese or other a plus

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range

Minimum:

$97,500.00 USD

Maximum:

$160,000.00 USD
