As Managing Director, you will lead all operational, financial, marketing, and strategic efforts for our boutique luxury hotel and beach property. You will work closely with the executive team to optimize revenue, guest experience, and community relationships. Your focus will be ramping up key operations and positioning the property as a premier leisure destination in the Caribbean market.
Key Responsibilities Oversee all operational departments including F&B, rooms, sales, marketing, and accounting.
Hire and develop a high-performing leadership team to scale the business.
Execute marketing and revenue strategies to maximize ADR and occupancy rates.
Continuously improve service levels, guest satisfaction, and sense of place.
Achieve annual financial targets through sound revenue and cost management.
Actively engage with the local community and tourism board on initiatives.
Provide strategic vision and direction to maintain brand standards.
Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications 10+ years of management experience in hotel management, particularly independent hotels.
Caribbean or Bahamas experience (preferred).
Strong background in Food and Beverage (preferred).
Luxury or upscale boutique hotel experience required.
Experience establishing new operations and technology and managing through rapid growth.
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field, with a graduate degree preferred.
Deep knowledge of hotel industry trends, best practices, rules, and regulations.
Strong understanding of finance/financial statements and operations.
Ability to analyze, prioritize, and delegate as appropriate.
