As aPricing Estimator / Senior Estimator, youll take the lead in ensuring our products are strategically priced to align with market dynamics and deliver maximum value. With a focus on precision and efficiency, your role will help optimize our sales strategies, ensuring profitability while maintaining Germfrees commitment to innovation and quality.

What Youll Do:

• Strategic Pricing: Develop, evaluate, and implement pricing strategies for all Germfrees business segments and product lines, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements and approval processes.
• Cost Estimation: Accurately analyze and estimate costs for labor, materials, equipment, and other direct expenses, considering fluctuating supply chain conditions.
• Proposal Support: Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, Operations, and Finance teams to create material estimates for proposal submittals, ensuring all client requirements are met.
• Risk Analysis: Assess risks and opportunities during the proposal process, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Database Management: Build and maintain detailed pricing databases, incorporating accurate cost data across all product lines.
• Market Research: Conduct competitive pricing analysis to ensure Germfree remains ahead of market trends.
• Process Improvement: Drive long-term strategic projects to enhance pricing tools, methodologies, and workflows.
• Client and Leadership Engagement: Present pricing reviews, cost considerations, and strategic insights to both senior leadership and clients.
• Lifecycle Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and Business Development teams to set prices for new offerings and adjust pricing as products evolve.

What Youll Bring:

• Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 5-10 years of experience in design/build construction or manufacturing environments.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in pricing, estimating, and costing, including knowledge of recurring revenue models (e.g., leasing, maintenance agreements).
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex pricing scenarios.
  • Expertise in proposal preparation, including RFP analysis and bid strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey pricing insights and recommendations.
  • Leadership capabilities to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience developing subcontract pricing templates and navigating approval processes.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• A talent for creating impactful presentations tailored to senior leadership and stakeholders.
