We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will contribute to creating comfortable and efficient indoor environments for our clients. Must be able to service, repair and perform preventive maintenance for residential and commercial equipment. We are looking for a candidate who is a team player, self-motivated, results oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills. Candidate must be friendly with good customer communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure proper placement and connection of components.
• Configure HVAC systems for optimal functionality and energy efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to prolong their lifespan and prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Replace or repair defective components, such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Provide clear explanations of HVAC issues and recommended solutions to clients.
• Address customer concerns and inquiries while ensuring their satisfaction.
• Adhere to industry regulations and safety protocols when performing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
• Keep up-to-date with HVAC technology advancements and industry best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, repair summaries, and parts used.
• Complete necessary paperwork, such as work orders and invoices, accurately and promptly.
• Utilize physical strength and agility to handle tasks such as climbing ladders, lifting heavy equipment, and working in tight spaces.
• Safely operate tools and equipment necessary for HVAC installation and repair.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of HVAC experience.
• Required to possess essential basic tools.
• Availability for on-call hours is required
• Must hold a valid State of Florida Driver's License with a good driving record.
• EPA Certification.
• NATE & OSHA Certification is preferred
• EPA Type II (Preferred)

$23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• 10-hour shift
• Monday - Friday
• On call
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required

• Completion of a two-year college or technical school program with a certificate in air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
